What is EDAPS?

The EDAPS Project (Early Detection Alarm Preventive System) was developed through a collaboration agreement between MM Matrix Integrity (MMMI) and the Fire and Rescue Department (JBP) Selayang.


The main purpose of developing EDAPS is to create a smart device capable of detecting three key safety elements, that can potentially be implemented alongside existing HOME ALARM SYSTEM. These safety elements includes:

  • Fire

  • Gas leakage

  • Abnormal temperature

Why EDAPS Was Created?

EDAPS was created as a response to multiple cases involving gas leaks, both domestic and industry. Due to negligence, poor maintenance, or management issues, cases involving gas leaks resulted in loss of money, infrastructure, and more importantly life.

 

EDAPS main goal is to create a device that can be use both domestic and industry environments and can potentially detect the warning signs so that these tragedies can be minimized.
